A Casa da Cerca é um Alojamento Local situado no topo da Vila de Ferragudo, envolto numa zona calma e ajardinada, com parques de estacionamento gratuito e uma vista fantástica sobre  a vila, o rio Arade e a Serra de Monchique, avistando-se no topo, a Fóia.  Tem uma área habitável de 80m2, com ar condicionado e WiFi, num condominio de apenas dois andares. Tem varanda/terraço com cama de baloiço e barbecue, sala ampla com lareira e um ecrã LCD com 144 canais nacionais e estrangeiros. Quarto com cama de casal de largas dimensões, casa de banho e cozinha completas. A distância da casa às praias e à vila, é de apenas 5 min. a pé. É um local de excelência para disfrutar de umas férias revitalizantes e calmas.

Casa da Cerca is a Local Accommodation located at the top of the village of Ferragudo in a quiet and gardened area with free parking areas and a fantastic landscape over the village, Arade river, Serra de Monchique and at the top, Fóia. It has a living area of 80m2, with air conditioning and WiFi, in a 2 floors condominium. It has a balcony/terrace, with hammock and barbecue, large living room with fireplace and an LCD screen with 144 national and foreign channels. Bedroom with large double bed and complete bathroom and kitchen. It is an excellent place to enjoy a revitalizing and calm holidays. The distance from the house to the beaches and the center of the village is only 5 minutes by walk.

Leisure Time

In the living room, you can watch a movie or have fun with diverse board games, read a book, and much more. We have a small sharing book library, which has already many books in different languages, take a look! During the winter you can use the fireplace to heat the house or use the air conditioning. In the summer you can eat on the terrace, and grill in our barbecue. Whenever you want to, pick up the hammock and hang it on the terrace, enjoy your stay!

Ferragudo is a quiet village but still with entertainment at the village center and in beach bars. At the center, you have a park with a playground for children, beautiful river bank with boats and fisherman preparing the fishing nets. The square has many restaurants, bars and sometimes live music. You have touristic tours to see the caves and the dolphins, sightseeing tours, train tours between Ferragudo and Carvoeiro, golf courses, language courses, natural parks like "Parque das Fontes" and Aquatic Parks. At the first Saturday of the month, there's a traditional flea market around the village.

Have a Drink

You can find one of the various bars at the village center but also at the beach to have a drink alone or with friends and sometimes listen to music, fado, karaoke, etc.  You can also choose the Bars and nightclubs at Praia da Rocha just in front of Ferragudo. You can go by taxi boat until midnight or taxi during 24 hours/day.

 

FACILITIES

      We have several facilities we would like to describe to you:

 

  • Local co-host comes to welcome you!

        Sandra Pinheiro, works with us, takes care, cleans and maintains the house. She will be waiting for you at the time and day of your                arrival and after scheduled before your arrival. You can arrive until 11:30p.m., but after 7p.m. a fee of 20€ in cash is charged,                          to Sandra.

  • Wine to start

       We always provide a Portuguese bottle of wine, fruit, and coffee to Welcome you to our apartment.

  • Food at your arrival

       We are not allowed to leave any food in the house, but if you wish to eat at your arrival, please contact us, we will provide some                    products you want  with additional fees.

  • High-security key + Security Door

        In case of loss or damage, there is an extra fee of 50€. Whenever you want a second key, the second key is given upon a caution of              50€ we will return it close to the check out, against the return of the key.

  • Bed sheets and Towels  and cleaning                                                                                                                                                The apartment is prepared with bed sheets and towels for a week, if you stay more time, we less another piece to change or you can ask Sandra to prepare this changing once a week, Sandra has a cost of 8€/hour, it's a cost supported for you, usually, clients prefer it.

  • Coffee, Tea and Detergent

        In kitchen, we leave some coffee, tea, and detergent for both machines. Only for small stays.​

  • ECO-points

      We have an eco-point very close to home just by the left side of the roundabout. For a better and greener planet.

       Please don't place the domestic garbage in the dustbin around the mile.
